Born from the mists of the Chesapeake Bay, The Brigadune Inn takes you back in time, to when life was slower and simpler. Come relax with us, unplug and unwind.  Take a leisurely stroll on the nearly deserted beach, only a few minutes walk away.  Watch a breathtaking sunset, over the water.

This beautifully appointed property, overlooking the Bay, is owned and managed by Barb & Rob Baechtel, who arrived on the Island, from Washington, DC, in the summer of 2013, and never looked back  Renovations began on the property in July of 2018 and will continue, as this Island retreat strives to reach its full potential. 

The "Brigadune" name is derived from the word "Brigadoon", or "Bridge over the River Doon" and which Webster's defines as "a place that is idyllic, unaffected by time, or remote from reality." Brigadune is a nod to the timeless history of our Island, together with the fragile nature of a tiny, tight-knit community at sea level.
